Child Safety Standards
Effective October 15, 2026. Applies to Paterson Legacy GO and Paterson Legacy GO Explore. Operator: Paterson Juneteenth Foundation, separate from Onyx Repository Foundation. Contact: Patersonjuneteenth@gmail.com. This is a community program, not an official government app.
Eligibility: 18 and older
You must be at least 18. Online registration requires an accurate self-declared date of birth and rejects under-18 dates. This is not identity verification. Under-18 and guardian enrollment is closed; guardian approval cannot override eligibility. Existing under-18 accounts are restricted from participation and accounts missing a date of birth must complete the eligibility check. Existing birth-date corrections require support review. Safety reporting, privacy requests and deletion assistance remain available regardless of eligibility. All participants, media contributors and public team leaders must be 18 or older. Under-18 accounts cannot join activities. Do not enroll younger children through another account. Follow any additional local-law or event-specific age and supervision requirements.
Prohibited conduct
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking and promotion or facilitation of exploitation are prohibited in all content and activities associated with this service. These standards remain in force regardless of minimum age.
Reporting and enforcement
Choose Child-safety concern in the public reporting form without signing in. Describe the account, activity or content location; never copy, upload or forward sexual images of children. The reporting form has no attachments. The committee reviews reports, restricts access or removes violating content and accounts, and escalates urgent concerns to Ravon Robeson or Rodney Addison. Confirmed CSAM must be handled through appropriate reporting channels, including NCMEC where legally required, with evidence protected against unnecessary access or distribution. Report receipt is not a guarantee of resolution or round-the-clock monitoring.
The Foundation committee monitors safety and privacy requests. Ravon Robeson or Rodney Addison are the safety contacts. Use More → Safety & Privacy, the public reporting form, or Patersonjuneteenth@gmail.com. For immediate danger contact emergency services; this is not an emergency service. Do not send passwords, identification documents or suspected child sexual abuse material with a report.
Retention
Account and participation records remain while needed for program operation, verification, disputes and legal obligations. Precise GPS and detailed QR signals follow configured verification-retention schedules; nonidentifying aggregate statistics may remain. Historical child and guardian records are protected and remain eligible for deletion review: changing the audience does not erase or authorize new uses of them.
The Foundation has adopted rolling backup retention of 30 days and removal of identifying safety-report information 90 days after case closure, unless a documented legal, safeguarding or fraud-investigation hold requires longer retention. Active reports remain until reviewed and closed. Backup access is restricted; backups are not selectively edited in place and deletions must be reapplied after a restoration. Holds must be reviewed when their purpose ends. These are committee-administered procedures, not a promise that sending a request immediately erases every copy.
